W8 Interior Light Ambient LED Lighting Unit
W8 interior light with ambient leds and illuminated switches for models without sunroof direct replacement for Passat,Golf mk4, Bora, Octavia mk1, Leon mk1. This new unit has two led ambient lights that cast a dim glow across the centre console and also illuminated switches which light up when you put your sidelights on.
These lights are fitted the very high specced w8 passats but they fit most Vw skoda and seat and Audi cars and add a unique red glow to the interior of the car.

Please note you will need to purchase a OEM wiring adapter to connect this light unit to your original wiring harness
On the bora vent loom there are two wires a black and a yellow one. They both connect to the back of the headlight dimmer switch. the Yellow wire taps into the grey/blue wire on this switch and the black connects to the brown earth wire on this switch or any earth wire or earth point in the car.
By doing it to the dimmer switch when you dim the ambient lights the W8 Red LED's will also dim.
